We recently had our wedding at the Bushtown Hotel in Coleraine and of the many wonderful things about that day, Laurence ranks highly among them!
Starting even before the wedding Laurence was an absolute delight, checking in with us days before to get saying hello and getting an idea of what we wanted on the day.
Once the big day arrived Laurence was the kind of photographer that everyone would want at their wedding, not only did he make both of us feel at ease the entire day, ensuring we always felt calm and at ease, but he blended in perfectly with our guests, to the point of becoming a guest himself! He was funny, talkative, kind, and overall wonderful!
And while the results (a few we have included here) speak for themselves, I obviously can't go without talking about the photos themselves. Laurence did a wonderful job of capturing our day, from helping us decide where was best to get photos at our venue (both indoors and out), to ensuring that even when we ourselves got stressed, that we always looked our absolute best and felt just as wonderful.
We genuinely cannot thank Laurence enough for making our day that bit more wonderful just by being there, for how beautifully he captured not just our posed photos, but also the fantastic candid shots of our guests, and my wife and I can not recommend him enough.
If you're reading this, pouring over reviews in search of that person who is going to do your special day justice, you can rest assured that you have found the right man in Laurence!

We recently used Laurence as our wedding photographer, and would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Laurence was amazing, and was able to help put us at ease and was very friendly and funny. We had a small wedding but nonetheless got 5* service from Laurence. As people who are not overly comfortable in front of the camera, Laurence definitely made us feel comfortable and the pictures were absolutely beautiful and we got to see some before they were all complete and the timing of receiving the full album was quick.
I would definitely use Laurence again for any other events I require a photographer for and wouldn't look anywhere else. If anyone is reading and need a photographer, I would definitely use Laurence, you will not regret it at all.

What can I say - We could not have found a better photographer for our lockdown wedding on Jan 01st. Laurence really put us at ease. He is a character, so it was non-stop laughing, which made the photos amazing! As well as plenty of posed photos, he captured so many candid moments perfectly too. Also, he is very reasonably priced compared to other places we looked! I would highly recommend!

Laurence was a fantastic wedding photographer and gave us some amazing memories + photographs from our big day. We wanted it relaxed and stress free which it was. It was very hot & sunny on the wedding day but Laurence did not let this stop him from getting amazing shots. Laurence is brilliant - you know he's done a good job when the bridesmaid says that she wants him for her wedding! He was funny on the day, making jokes and keeping everyone relaxed. His style is natural and many of the photos provide candid shots where the guests don't realise they are being snapped. He is quick at turning round the photos so that you can show them to everyone online and relive the day from anywhere with a simple online password. Laurence offers an excellent service for a fraction of the price of other photographers in Northern Ireland. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I chose Laurence for my wedding photography as I like his previous photos from the website and his friendly and helpful emails back and forth
Laurence arrived early on the day and took plenty of photos of the venue and the Bridal Party getting ready.
When the Groom and his party arrived Laurence got a lot of good (and hilarious!) Photos of the boys and everyone had a great time with Laurence.
The ceremony photos where fantastic a lot of really lovely moments were captured.
The group photos and family shots where fantastic and we had a great selection of candid photos too.

Laurence was our photographer for our wedding wasn't sure if I wanted a photographer for our wedding day but I'm so glad we did as now we have memories to look back on. Laurence made us laugh throughout the day. He took great quality pictures. We love our pictures we received an online password that we type in at anytime to view our wedding pictures and also got the pictures sent out on a USB stick so that we can take it to our families and show it to them on their TV. All the way from the USA

My husband and I planned our wedding from the States and relied solely on reviews and online searches for vendors. Laurence was easy to work with, responded to emails and inquiries in a timely fashion, and was affordable. Most importantly, he captured the sentiments of the day. Declan grew up in Belfast so his family was local, but my family and friends made the trip from Boston. We wanted it to be a true celebration and blending of families, which Laurence was able to put into photos. He made us all comfortable- including Declan's 3 camera shy daughters! He also put up with "competing" photographers in a couple of the guests! Can't thank him enough, the photos put a smile on my face and help me relive the happiness of the day!

Snappitt Photography was wonderful on our wedding day! I do not like getting photos taken but Laurence was relaxed and fun which made it easy to be in front of the camera. Snappitt Photography was easy to contact and reasonable price for excellent quality photos and service! We could not have been happier with our wedding photos and all our guest were very complimentary about Snappitt Photography! Laurence was brilliant with the young children in our family and managed to get lovely photos of my niece in particular who at 4 years of age we have not been able to get her to smile for a photo but Laurence got it! Marrying someone who hates getting their photo taken is a real challenge. Having seen Laurence's work online I got in touch and he put my mind at rest that he would be able to capture fantastic pictures of our big day. This was not a lie. From start to finish he kept us smiling. Our families and guests loved him. I really cannot explain how much of an important part he played in our big day. The next day a range of pictures went online. No one could believe how amazing they were. Two weeks later we have a complete disc and a range of photos already printed by Laurence. They are amazing! Now the hard bit begins, how do I select which of his amazing photos go in my story book? I cannot recommend this man enough! I can't imagine the wedding day without his banter, the mood he set is clear in the pictures. From the moment he came to my room at the merchant on the morning of the wedding I felt like I'd known him for years he was so relaxed and friendly. His photos captured the theme of the wedding perfectly which was" relaxed and art deco inspired"! We absolutely are in love with our pictures and the photo book? Wow! Fantastic quality and he even done it in an Art Deco theme for us. I think I have converted him now! We received a disc with ALL of the edited photos from the day which we will treasure forever. Just collected my disc and prints, we could not be happier with my photos!! Snappitt Wedding Photography captured the atmosphere of our wedding perfectly from the beginning at my mums house to the first dance. I came across Snappitt by googling "reasonable wedding photographers Belfast" and viewed the Punk and Pirate wedding that had been covered, from that moment I knew that this was the photographer that we wanted to use. I loved the quirky, relaxed, beautiful and fun photos that we looked at on the site. We organised a consultation with Laurence King from Snappitt Photography at his home studio, we got to see lots of his work, again this cemented that this was the photographer we wanted to use. On the day Laurence arrived as scheduled to my mums house he worked away and put everyone at ease, we got some beautiful pictures of us all getting ready and I love all the photos of the dress, hair combs, shoes etc. The service and reception photos were just as we wanted, everyone who has seen the photos has commented on how good they are. Lots of very special moments captured. Laurence was extremely professional and good craic at the same time, he checked with us throughout the day that we were happy with the direction he was giving...we totally were. I can't believe how I went from someone who hates getting their photo taken and usually freezes to feeling good about getting them taken. Without doubt Snappitt Wedding Photography, run by the lovely Laurence King, was the perfect choice for our wedding on Friday 21st August 2015 at Belfast Castle. Laurence provided an excellent service from start to finish, we couldn't fault it. He was professional throughout, providing us with wonderful photographs which we will cherish, but just as importantly he was fun and made us feel relaxed.

Laurence made the difficult task of finding a wedding photographer so much easier for us. He responded to our initial inquiries very quickly and we soon chatted on the phone- at this stage I knew he was the one for us! We met in person a few months before the wedding to discuss our expectations and of course to meet, it certainly helped to put a name to the face and to see how our personalities might work together on the day. Laurence was also very patient with my last minute panic emails regarding photo lists and various other worries.

On the day, Laurence was there waiting for us as we arrived- happily taking photos and chatting with guests. He maintained a perfect balance between professionalism and guest interaction. We particularly appreciated how helped to put us and the guests at ease, it made the photo session feel like fun rather than a chore. We were pleased that Laurence joined us for a meal after the ceremony.

Laurence promised us a photo preview and to our delight we were able to view some of our wedding photos later that evening, yes- Laurence had actually put up some of our photos within 3 hours of leaving our ceremony! The guests really enjoyed looking through these whilst we had our evening meal. We couldn't have asked for anything more, a perfect end to a perfect day.

If you want a friendly, professional and fun service with excellent communication and a speedy turn around then don't go anywhere else. I don't see why anyone would fork out ££££ for wedding photography when you can get the best for less! You won't regret booking with Snappitt Wedding Photography.

We had 33 days to organise our daughter's wedding,due to an overseas posting....the wedding to be in Belfast,UK......We live in Boston,Mass.....Internet was our only choice......Good fortune led my fingers to Snappitt Photography,and Laurence.......What a Gem he is......We chatted online and by phone,and he eased all of my anxiety,with his great humour and positive manner.......I knew he was just perfect for the job........and I was right.......He did a fabulous job.....blending in with family and friends,....totally non-intrusive,,,,,,,He got terrific shots of everyone,in their most relaxed manner,and captured the spirit of the day in every way......the pictures are just fantastic.........We not only got a wonderful photographer,I think we have made a friend for life.......I highly recommend this man....he is amazing.

We recently used Laurence King as our wedding photographer. We organised our wedding from New Zealand so we didn't get the opportunity to meet with Laurence until the day of the wedding. He was extremely efficient at responding to our emails which made our life easy. Laurence's style and personality worked well on the day as we wanted the photos to be very relaxed and didn't want the photograph process to take up a large part of the day. Our photographs are stunning and are just what we wanted. He really captured the atmosphere of the day and a selection of the photos were on Facebook the day of the wedding which we found to be really useful since we had limited time to look at these with friends and family in the UK before heading back to New Zealand. We left the UK and went on our honeymoon and have arrived home to the complete CD of photos which was a great welcome home gift. Efficient service from start to finish.

We are so pleased with the work Laurence done on our big day !! Couldn't recommend him enough!!We first saw his work at our friends wedding who I was bridesmaid for back last August and loved the finish product of their album.Laurence recently did the photographs at our wedding in Belfast Castle last April. He was great at working with us and got the photographs that we wanted !! He got some brilliant in the moment shots that we didn't even realize were being taken that turned out great ! We absolutely love our album that we received very quickly after the wedding. I can't wait to show it to more of our family and friends!! It captures every moment of the big day !!

We got married on the 23rd Aug 2013 . We live in London and Laurence was very flexible with meeting up with us anytime we had flown over to arrange things. We chose Laurence not only for his competitive prices, but also for the quality of his work. The times we met him prior to our special day he was always friendly and very helpful. We received our story book, prints and all images this week and we are over the moon with all the images of our special day. A massive thanks to Laurence. Just received our disc of our wedding photos are they are fantastic! Laurence is such a pro when it comes to his work..he put everyone at ease with his down to earth/easy going nature, he is definitely the type of photographer you need on your wedding day. We were recommended to Laurence by a friend of mine who Laurence done the photography at his wedding and we were showing the photo story books that he does at the end. . We decided to meet up with Lawrence and discuss details for the Wedding having already seeing a sample of my friends work that Laurence had done I thought that he was going to be really expensive but we found he had deals to cater for all budgets and works with you to find whats right for you from the first minute off meeting Laurence he was friendly and welcoming. On the day of the wedding he got the hardest of people to make smile and covered all aspects of the day from the bride and her party in the morning to the cake cutting in the evening and everything in between .He likes to pick up on all the little details and that works with the story book ... he's very quick at editing pictures and getting your photos back to you.
I have and still do highly rate the service we got from Laurence from day one and to the lead up to the day of the wedding.
