It really has been a terrible time for brides and the wedding industry as whole for the last year . Postponing , many times . Cancellations , and accepting restricted numbers and rules and restrictions. Personal I have had basically very few weddings , but a few have still gone ahead , especially at the Belfast City Hall . I have attended here , many many times , and over the latest crisis , I have had small ceremonies with as few as 4 people . I even attended one where there was only the Bride and Groom , with the taxi driver being a witness , and myself the other ! , Yes really !

According to multiple reports, Northern Ireland is likely to extend Coronavirus restrictions beyond 5th March - possibly past Easter. Small wedding ceremonies can go ahead under the current rules and at the moment we can't see why that would change. f you're due to get married from March-May 2021, your first step is deciding whether a wedding with small numbers is the right thing for you and your partner. If it means cutting your guest list down so dramatically that key members of your family can't come, then it's worth looking into postponing.
Some may want to postpone , but others tired of postponing will go ahead regardless.

Will my Summer Wedding 2021 happen ?
There is reason to be optimistic for summer weddings. Boris Johnson said in his roadmap announcement that he hopes all restrictions will be lifted by 21st June 2021 at the earliest - and he specifically referenced weddings and other life events. However, bear in mind that the roadmap's timeline is subject to change depending on data nearer the time.
